Housing Trust Group (HTG) has appointed Laura Rodriguez as executive vice president and Debbie McCoy as vice president of property management. Both professionals will be based in Miami and will be in charge of supervising the operation of the company’s entire portfolio.
In her previous role, Rodriguez was the regional vice president of Alliance Residential, where she oversaw the operation of the firm’s Florida properties. Prior to that, she worked as a regional manager for ZRS Management for 12 years. Rodriguez has over two decades of experience in the field. She holds a master’s degree with honors in mental health counseling and psychology from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Florida.
Before joining HTG, McCoy worked as regional manager for Alliance Residential, where her responsibilities involved handling the management and financial aspects of the company’s multifamily assets. Her previous experience includes an 11-year stint as regional asset manager for S.E. Residential Group. A licensed broker, McCoy also has a Community Association Management license in Florida. She also holds certifications for Fair Housing, Tax Crediting and marketing.
In December, HTG finalized the construction of a $24 million, 101-unit residential property. The development is the first affordable community built in Riviera Beach, Fla., in the last four decades.
