Hodges Appointed President of Cadence McShane Construction Company

McShane, CEO of The McShane Companies, recently announced that Will Hodges has been appointed president of Cadence McShane Construction Company, the firm’s general contractor, design/build and construction management services firm headquartered in Dallas with offices in Houston and Austin, Texas.

McShane, CEO of The McShane Companies, recently announced that Will Hodges has been appointed president of Cadence McShane Construction Company, the firm’s general contractor, design/build and construction management services firm headquartered in Dallas with offices in Houston and Austin, Texas. Hodges succeeds former president, Neal Harper, who elected to pursue an early retirement following a 16-year tenure with Cadence McShane Construction.
Hodges is a 23-year industry veteran with expansive knowledge of the real estate industry and practical application of the construction process on behalf of numerous customers. His responsibilities as President will include the strategic growth and comprehensive operations of the firm. He will have direct oversight of Cadence McShane’s network of supporting departments such as estimating, accounting, administration and marketing. His insightful leadership will further Cadence McShane’s financial stability, demonstrated safety and quality programs and the firm’s unparalleled reputation for delivering client satisfaction.
Hodges is an acknowledged expert in assembling experienced design and construction teams and providing both internal and external resources to maximize the execution and delivery of Cadence McShane’s construction projects. He will also provide the short- and long-term strategic direction for the firm’s positioning and growth in the market and will guide further regional and national expansion.
Prior to joining Cadence McShane, Hodges served as senior vice president of Adolfson & Peterson Construction, providing direct management and operations on behalf of this large general contracting firm. His project experiences include successful undertakings for the healthcare, K-12 and higher education, hospitality, municipal, office, multi-family and retail markets.
Hodges earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University. He serves as a member of The Real Estate Council, TEXO, the Texas A&M University Construction Advisory Council and is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens.
