Portland—HFF has recently expanded its Pacific Northwest team with the addition of Christopher Ross as director in its Portland office. In his new role, Ross will focus on multi-housing investment sales in the Seattle real estate market, and will work together with Managing Director Ira Virden and Director Carrie Kahn.
“We are excited to welcome Chris as a member of HFF’s growing Pacific Northwest multi-housing team led by Ira Virden,” Nicholas Kucha, senior managing director & co-head of the firm’s Portland office, said in a statement. “Chris’ extensive experience in the Seattle market, coupled with his deep relationships with the local owners and operators will translate into an elevated level of service for our current and future clients in the region.”
Ross brings more than 11 years of commercial real estate experience to HFF. He most recently served as a director at Moran & Co., where he was involved in the closing of more than $2.2 billion in multifamily sales in the states of Oregon and Washington. Prior to joining Moran, Ross worked as a portfolio analyst within Deutsche Bank Mortgage Services’ asset management group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in financial economics from Western Washington University, and a certificate in commercial real estate from the University of Washington.
