HFF Dallas Hires Troy Manson as Managing Director to Focus on Student Housing Transactions

HFF announced that Troy Manson has joined the firm as a managing director in its Dallas office. Manson will work alongside managing director Brian Kelly in HFF’s Chicago office to handle studenthousing sales nationally.

Dallas—HFF announced that Troy Manson has joined the firm as a managing director in its Dallas office. Manson will work alongside managing director Brian Kelly in HFF’s Chicago office to handle studenthousing sales nationally.

Manson has more than nine years of experience in student housing investments and operations and has been involved in nearly $1 billion of student housing transactions. He joins HFF from Halyard Ventures, where he was the managing principal and founder. Prior to that, he was a managing director of operations for Inland American Communities/FirstWorthing where he was responsible for a 5,000-bed nationwide student-housing portfolio.  Manson began his career in Ernst & Young’s real estate advisory services practice. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Millsaps College.
