Herring-Parsons Named Director of Compliance at Ahepa Management Company

Fishers, Ind.—Ahepa Management Company, a property management firm providing onsite management for affordable senior housing communities, has announced the promotion of Lucinda Herring-Parsons to the position of director of compliance. In her new role, Herring-Parsons will oversee compliance with HUD regulations and quality assurance for AHEPA senior apartment properties throughout the country.

Herring-Parsons joined AHEPA Management Company in 2004. For the past three years, Herring-Parsons served as Assistant Director of Compliance. Previously she worked in accounting for the company. Prior to her employment with AHEPA Management Company, she served as accounting manager for Comcast Cable Vision for five years in Indianapolis.

Herring-Parsons is affiliated with Quadel Consulting, an affordable housing industry training organization, and holds the CAHM Certification for Assisted Housing Manager from Quadel. She is a member of the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) and of Voyager Affordable User Group (VAUG.) In civic activities, Herring-Parsons volunteers with the School Board of Warren Township and with youth mentoring organizations. She has been instrumental in developing and operating a mentoring program for health and wellness for the YMCA of Marion County and the State of Indiana.
