Hernandez Construction Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.–Hernandez Construction, an affiliate of full-service commercial real estate firm Stiles, has announced the appointment of Steve Cassetta as chief financial officer.

In his new role, Cassetta will be responsible for the group’s financial operations in addition to creating a long-term strategic growth plan. However, his initial focus will be to implement strategy programs to allow for the company to expand its platform and presence in key market segments, specifically healthcare and higher education.

Cassetta brings in over 40 years of financial and accounting having previous served as chief financial officer and secretary at Hypower Inc., in which he assisted in turning the company into a market leader, increasing revenue by 90 percent to more than $120 millon. Additionally he has also held other financial and leadership roles with both public and private companies including Raytheon Engineers & Constructors, Sturgeon Electric Company and Quanta Services.
