HAP Investments Announces New Corporate Assistant General Counsel
Brittiny Sessions possesses more than 15 years of experience representing government agencies, developers, not-for-profits and corporate entities in various aspects of the transactional practice of real estate development and public finance.
New York—HAP Investments LLC, a New York-based international real estate investment and development company, has announced that Brittiny Sessions has joined as corporate assistant general counsel. Sessions, as a commercial real estate attorney, possesses more than 15 years of experience representing governmental agencies, developers, not-for-profits and corporate entities in various aspects of the transactional practice of real estate development and public finance.
Prior to joining HAP Investments, Sessions was most recently a partner in the real estate group at Cozen O’Connor. Additionally, she has significant experience with public-private transactions, leveraging public investment for private development and enhancing the benefits and amenities available to the public through such partnered developments. Representative projects in which she has been involved include: a distribution facility for InBev Anheuser-Busch Companies Inc.; parking facilities serving Yankee Stadium and the Bronx; the redevelopment of waterfront property in Halletts Point, Astoria, Queens; and tax-exempt financing for the acquisition of the U.S. headquarters for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF in Lower Manhattan.
Sessions received her law degree from Fordham Law School where she served as student bar vice-president and on the Moot Court Board, successfully achieving top honors in the Cardozo/BMI Moot Court competition. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in radio-television-film from the University of Texas at Austin.
