Greystone Taps New Atlanta Managing Director

Michael Doran, a 20-year commercial real estate veteran, will now focus on originating mid- to large-size transactions for permanent, bridge and construction multifamily debt.

Greystone announced Michael Doran’s addition to the company as managing director of the Atlanta office. As a 20-year commercial real estate veteran, Doran will now concentrate on originating different types of transactions for permanent, bridge and construction multifamily debt. 

“Mike’s deep experience with a range of diverse lending products will serve as an asset to our team as we work to meet the growing demand for agency financing,” said Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Lending Executive Vice President Joe Mosley, in prepared remarks.

Doran’s experience

Most recently, Doran served as principal and portfolio manager at PGIM Real Estate Finance, where he oversaw the construction and bridge programs as well as the portfolio management and reporting team. During his two-decade total tenure at Prudential, Doran also worked as originations manager for the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions and originated regional CMBS, agency, bridge and portfolio loans. As vice president of originations at CWCapital, Doran focused primarily on conduit and agency lending transactions.  

Michael Doran has a solid background in building teams, driving new business growth, new product development, credit oversight, program management, portfolio management, asset management and risk management.

Greystone’s new Atlanta managing director earned an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.
