Financing Veteran Joins JLL as SVP
James McArthur will focus on providing financing solutions to multifamily real estate developers and owners using JLL's Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD/FHA capabilities.
JLL has hired James McArthur as the firm’s senior vice president. He will work from the company’s Los Angeles office and will report to Managing Director Brian Halpern and International Director Brian Kelleher. McArthur will be in charge of providing financing solutions to multifamily real estate developers and owners using the company’s Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD/FHA capabilities.​​​Â
“Los Angeles is a key market for us as we look to deepen our national multifamily footprint. Jim’s addition will allow us to provide great services to more clients,” said Halpern, in a prepared statement.
Previously, McArthur worked for Freddie Mac Multifamily as production and sales manager for the GSE’s Western region. He brings 15 years of commercial real estate experience to the firm, including five years in debt and equity origination. JLL’s new senior vice president holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BBA in finance from the University of Iowa.
