Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. Announces New Co-Chair of the Enterprise New York Advisory Board

Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. announced today the election of Todd A. Gomez, Community Development Banking (CDB) Northeast Region Executive at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, to join David Cavalier as co-chair of the Enterprise New York Advisory Board.

New York—Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. (Enterprise), a provider of affordable housing and community development capital and expertise, announced today the election of Todd A. Gomez, Community Development Banking (CDB) Northeast Region Executive at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, to join David Cavalier as co-chair of the Enterprise New York Advisory Board. Gomez is replacing outgoing co-chair Adam R. Flatto, president of The Georgetown Company.

Gomez has extensive experience in the real estate industry and a long history of supporting and financing affordable housing. As Northeast Region Executive for CDB, Gomez is responsible for managing a $1.4 billion loan portfolio and leading a team focused on providing a broad range of debt and equity financing solutions to developers of affordable multifamily housing in the region extending from Maine to Pennsylvania.

Before joining CDB in 2008, Gomez served as Managing Director of the Affordable Housing Finance Group at Banc of America Securities (BAS), leading a team responsible for providing investment banking and advisory services to residential developers, real estate management companies, owners and operators of affordable housing throughout the country. He joined BAS in 2004 from the Chicago Housing Authority, where he was Chief Financial Officer, responsible for all financing, cash management, accounting, risk management and financial reporting activity and also managed the Authority’s $1.5 billion annual budget. Before joining the CHA, Gomez worked for more than 13 years in affordable housing finance and corporate banking.

Gomez has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Dartmouth College and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in finance and real estate from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. In addition to his service on the Enterprise New York Advisory Council, Gomez serves on the Boards of the Housing Partnership Development Corporation, HousingFirst!, the Community Preservation Corporation, the Supportive Housing Network, Expeditionary Learning and the South Mountain YMCA in New Jersey.
