Domus Development Taps New President

Maurice Ramirez, Domus Development LLC

Affordable housing developer Domus Development LLC has appointed Maurice Ramirez as company president. In his new role, Ramirez will oversee the acquisition and development of new multifamily housing in California. 

Experience in the Public Sector

Ramirez brings more than 25 years of industry experience, having contributed to the development and funding of thousands of affordable housing units in California. Ramirez joins after more than a decade with AMCAL Multi-Housing Inc., where he most recently served as executive vice president. His experience includes a position with Los Angeles Housing Partnership as director of acquisitions and development, but also stints with City of Los Angeles Housing Department and Los Angeles County Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS. Ramirez is a graduate of the University of Virginia.

The Sacramento-based firm is currently working on affordable housing projects in several California cities including El Cajon, Stockton and Winters.
