David Bonomo Joins Lancaster Pollard’s Housing Group
Bonomo will be in charge of expanding the firm's investment banking and mortgage banking finances.
New York—Lancaster Pollard has announced the hiring of David Bonomo as senior vice president to expand the firm’s investment banking and mortgage banking finance activities for market-rate, income-restricted and subsidized rental properties. Bonomo will be responsible for clients in Connecticut, Delaware, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and will establish a new office for the firm in New Jersey.
He joins Lancaster Pollard from the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA) where he served as chief financial officer (CFO) since 2010. As CFO, he presided over NJHMFA’s $4 billion balance sheet while managing the capital markets and finance divisions. In addition, he developed and managed the agency’s conduit bond program, executed loan workouts and restructurings, and led NJHMFA’s single family mortgage-backed securities (MBS) effort.
Prior to his time at NJHMFA, Bonomo was the founder and managing member of Shore Road Capital, LLC, a middle market financial advisory firm. Further, he has held investment banking positions with Gruntal & Co./Ryan Beck and B.C. Ziegler & Company. He received a B.A. in economics from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and has a law degree from New York Law School and is a member of the New York Bar.
