Crossville, Tenn.—Crossville has released Shades by Crossville, a new line of porcelain tiles. The offering brings an urban look to the company’s tile line with minimalist colors combined with detailed textures.

The tiles achieve their unique look thanks to a linear detailing. There are nine colors in all. Six shades of gray comprise most of the line, though there is an off white and not-quite black selection as well. Crossville gives designers a choice with the linear details that can achieve two distinct looks. They can either be installed in the same direction for a clean look, or placed randomly to add a bit of visual interest to any apartment.

Choosing Crossville in your next build over renovation is still as green as ever, and the Shades by Crossville collection is guaranteed to be produced with a minimum 20 percent recycled content. Crossville tiles are suitable for installation on interior walls and floors, as well as exterior walls.

Crossville products can contribute to LEED points, and the manufacturing facility employs a number of stainable practices. Over 99 percent of water used in the creation of tile is reused. Crossville is also the only tile producer with a tile take-back program, which allows previous installed tile from any manufacturer to be returned to Crossville for recycling.
