Crescent Communities Names DC Managing Director
Brandon Wright brings more than 13 years of experience to the firm, where he will oversee multifamily operations in the metro.
Crescent Communities has selected Brandon Wright as the firm’s managing director for Washington, D.C., multifamily operations. In his new role, Wright will direct both development and investment activity in D.C., as well as Virginia and Maryland.
Wright possesses more than 13 years of real estate investment and development experience in the wider D.C. area. Most recently, he served as a senior director of development for Greystar. Prior to that role, Wright held various positions with Alliance Residential Co., HFF, Cushman & Wakefield and The Bozzuto Group.
Crescent Communities has long been an active player in the nation’s capital. The firm was the master developer of the 3,000-acre Potomac Yard project for seven years. The company has also developed the One and Two Potomac Yard office towers, which were delivered in 2006, containing a respective 315,231 and 306,593 square feet.
Crescent presently has an active development portfolio totaling just shy of 3,450 units, according to Yardi Matrix data. The firm’s projects range from Arizona to Florida. In March, the company delivered the 375-unit Novel Lucerne in Orlando, Fla., one of the largest completions in the metro this year.
