Cortland Hires Two Industry Veterans

Multifamily real estate firm Cortland Partners has added two industry veterans to manage accounting and marketing of its growing portfolio.

Atlanta—Multifamily real estate firm Cortland Partners has added two industry veterans to manage accounting and marketing of its growing portfolio.

Cortland has named Lorrie Coulson Accounting Manager and Ryan Perez Marketing Operations Manager. Both have extensive backgrounds in multifamily real estate.

Coulson comes to Cortland from Cousins Properties Inc. She brings more than 13 years of diversified real estate experience in office and retail management and office and multifamily development. At Cousins, she served as corporate assistant controller managing fees and corporate expenses. Previously she worked for SAP SI America, Jones Lang LaSalle and Pricewaterhouse Cooper. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Kennesaw State University.

Ryan Perez

Perez has spent the last five years as the Marketing and Training Director of the 17-apartment community portfolio for Wesley Apartment Homes, which total 7,500 units. During the transition from print media lead sourcing to web traffic sourcing, she led the efforts to qualify and quantify web traffic. Mobile marketing and tablet platforms were also rolled out under her leadership. In addition to managing the marketing budget, Perez assisted in an overall company rebranding effort. Prior to Wesley, she worked for UPS and Illinois Central College. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bradley University and Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Illinois.
