CORT Names Tamela Coval Executive Strategist

Chantilly, Va.–CORT, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, announced that multifamily industry veteran Tamela Coval, has joined the company as an executive strategist. In this position, Tamela will apply her 33 years of multifamily industry experience to grow and enrich CORT’s national partnerships and supplier relationships. As executive strategist, Coval will raise awareness about CORT as a partner to the apartment industry.
Coval joins CORT after 20 years at industry media giants Primedia (ApartmentGuide.com) and Network Communications Inc. (ApartmentFinder, The Real Estate Book, Corporate Choices and LivingChoices.com) where she encouraged national participation from CORT while serving side-by-side with CORT employees in leadership activities at the National Apartment Association. With a career chronicled in industry leadership circles, Coval serves as a notable pacesetter to CORT’s national team. Her career service commitment, robust network and focus on multifamily application of emerging technologies enhance CORT’s dedication to delivering much more than furnishings.
In addition to decades of service to the multifamily industry, Coval has held numerous volunteer leadership roles including board of director positions for local, state and national industry associations such as the National Apartment Association (NAA) and National Supplier’s Council Chair (NAA-NSC). Coval remains an active participant with the National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC).
