Los Angeles—Ron Azad has joined Charles Dunn Company as senior managing director of its real estate services company. Azad will oversee the firm’s property management and asset management operations.
Azad expressed excitement to be taking the helm during the firm’s growth and expansion efforts. He brings with him 30 years worth of experience, most of which took place at CB Richard Ellis Investors, where he started in 1982. While with CBRE Investors, he led real estate investment programs for several pension plans and a large sovereign wealth fund and managed over $2.8 billion of assets totaling more than 16 million square feet, including more than 80 office, industrial, retail, medical office and residential properties, including ground-up developments.
In 2008, he was recruited by Adler Realty Investments as managing director of portfolio management and development, where he revamped investor reporting, developed a Trader Joe’s-anchored retail center and worked to improve asset performance amid the economic crash.
