Campus Advantage has been selected to manage Lincoln Ventures’ upcoming luxury student housing community near the University of Texas at Austin. Moontower is a 166-unit, 567-bed development situated steps from the university’s West Campus. When completed in the fall of 2020, the 18-story Moontower will feature a combination of studios, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom units.

Class A amenities will focus on the needs of wellness-minded students and will include a fitness center containing a spin bike room and yoga room, a rooftop pool, premium access to underground parking and panoramic Austin city views.

Students will be provided with ample study space, which will include individual study booths, small study rooms, co-working spaces for group studying and a café.

The extra mile

Our residents have come to expect a certain level of luxury and quality in our projects,” David Kanne, Lincoln Ventures president, said in a prepared statement. “With this new development we’ve gone the extra mile. It’s really going to elevate the student housing experience.”

Campus Advantage management plans to create community-focused programs and experiences at Moontower that motivate and enable residents to thrive in all life areas. This includes the company’s Students First Experience platform, intended to give Campus Advantage residents greater opportunities for success now and in the future.

Managing branding for the development will be handled by Austin-based Catalyst, an agency focused on creative marketing of student and multifamily housing. Branding will include the completed naming and logo design, marketing collateral and online presence.

When completed, Moontower will be an iconic student housing property and we are excited to bring this future world-class facility to the heart of Austin,” Madison Meier, vice president of Campus Advantage, said in prepared remarks. “The future residents of this property are going to be immersed in the ultimate living experience that is not only in a prime location close to campus but part of a vibrant apartment community as well.”

Campus Advantage is on track to complete one of its Pittsburgh student housing projects developed in a joint venture with Chicago-based Pinecrest. The 473-bed Bridge on Forbes community was 99 percent leased as of March.
