Brent Wessel Joins Red Mortgage Capital LLC in Newport Beach Office

Newport Beach, Calif.—Brent Wessel joined commercial real estate lender Red Mortgage Capital LLC as a managing director, Commercial/Multifamily Loan Originator based in the firm’s Newport Beach, Calif., office.

Wessel, a seasoned mortgage originator with over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, is focused on placing commercial loans with conduits, banks and insurance companies on a brokerage basis, as well as originating multifamily, seniors and affordable housing opportunities on the West Coast for Red’s Fannie Mae DUS® and FHA financing operations. He has particular expertise with Manufactured Housing Communities and with CMBS/conduit loans. Mr. Wessel’s prior experience includes serving as Regional Director, Real Estate Mortgage Capital for RBC Capital Markets U.S. and as Regional Director, North American Debt for GE Capital Real Estate, where in both roles he established and managed the Western Region CMBS lending platforms.
