Berkeley Point Capital is Growing its Loan Origination Team with the Recent Hire of Bill Mott
Bill Mott recently joined Berkeley Point Capital LLC as a Managing Director in its Bethesda, Md. location.
Bethesda, Md.–Bill Mott recently joined Berkeley Point Capital LLC as a Managing Director in its Bethesda, Md. location. Mott was previously employed at Deutsche Bank from 2003 to 2011 where he originated and structured approximately $15 billion in CMBS, mezzanine, construction, and bridge loans across all asset classes.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mott served as a vice president at Goldman Sachs from 1997 through 2003. At Goldman he was responsible for the origination and structuring of over $5 billion of multifamily, office, retail, hotel and industrial loans. During his tenure at Goldman Sachs he sat on the credit committee and was active in new product development, designing and marketing a floating rate loan program for securitization. Earlier in his career he was employed at Citicorp Real Estate as a Vice President, responsible for the firm’s relationships with third party mortgage banks, account management of debt facilities, and debt restructurings. Prior to this Mott was division manager at The Architectural Team, Inc. where he established the company’s Washington, D.C., office.
Mott received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School at the University of Virginia.
