Aureus Property Management Taps New President
In his new role, David Hardy will be responsible for all corporate functions and service teams, as well as the company's strategic growth.
Morris Plains, N.J.—The Weichert Family of Cos. has appointed David Hardy as president of its wholly owned property management company, Aureus Property Management. In this role, Hardy will be responsible for all corporate functions and service teams, and hold ultimate responsibility for the company’s strategic growth and the execution of the Aureus value proposition. He will report directly to Denise Smith, president of the Affiliated Services Group for the Weichert Family of Cos.
“I am very pleased to welcome Dave to the Weichert Family of Cos. executive team and to Aureus,” Smith said in prepared remarks. “Throughout his career, Dave has proven himself to be a strategic problem solver with the ability to execute smart solutions across all areas of the organizations in which he has worked. I expect his proficiency in business development and property management will allow him to bring Aureus to the next level of success.”
Prior to joining Aureus, Hardy was an executive director with FirstService Residential, overseeing the company’s property management operations in Northern New Jersey and Southern New York. He also spent 17 years at Realogy Corp. in a variety of roles, including his most recent positions of senior vice president of operations for Century 21 Real Estate and senior vice president of business development for the company’s Real Estate Franchise group.
Hardy was a board member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and the Asian Real Estate Association of America, and a member of the National Association of Realtors Fair Housing and Cultural Diversity committee. He also completed the CEO Academy at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the Managing Technical Professionals and Organizations program at MIT Sloan School of Management.
