AOG Breaks Ground on Senior Housing in Austin
This is the company's second 55-and-over community.
AOG Living has broken ground on Novum Capitol View, a 168-unit senior housing community in Austin, Texas. The developer will also manage the property, which is slated to open in 2025.
CBRE secured two loans totaling $50 million for AOG—one for this project and the other for Novum Plano, on which it broke ground in early October. CBRE also acts as exclusive debt and equity advisor for the developer.
Designed by Humphreys & Partners, Novum Capitol View will have units with studio, one- and two-bedroom layouts. Shared amenities will include a saltwater pool, dog park, community garden, grilling station, yoga room, hair and nail salon, fitness center, multi-purpose activity room, theater and game lounge.
The community is at 9009 Capitol View Drive, less than 4 miles from Interstate 35. Most restaurants and retail options are in downtown Austin, some 10 miles north.
AOG’s other senior housing project is in Plano, Texas. Novum Plano was designed by FK Architecture and is also expected to come online in 2025.
