American Landmark Welcomes New EVP

Pip Cornish brings more than 20 years of experience to the new role, where he will oversee property management for the company’s portfolio in three states.

American Landmark Apartments has hired Pip Cornish as its new executive vice president of operations in Charlotte, N.C. Lisa Grosse, who formerly held the position, has moved into a newly created role as the company’s executive vice president of design & community development.

In his new role, Cornish will direct the management of the firm’s 18 communities in Georgia, North and South Carolina. In July, American Landmark added more than 1,000 units to its portfolio in the region.

Cornish brings upwards of 20 years of experience in the multifamily management industry. He most recently acted as Cortland Partners’ director of operations, a role he held for more than five years. Prior to this, Cornish worked as regional manager for Pegasus Residential from 2011 to 2013. He additionally held positions with Equity Residential and GID Windsor Communities.

“Pip brings a wealth of experience in the multifamily space to American Landmark, including strengths in leasing oversight, asset management and capital improvements,” Joseph Lubeck, CEO of American Landmark, said in a prepared statement.
