American Landmark Appoints New CAO
Rachel Palmer has been with the company since 2017 and has served as executive vice president of operations.
American Landmark has promoted Rachel Palmer to chief administrative officer. In her new role, she is responsible for managing a portfolio of 90 communities across the U.S.
Palmer started her career in 2004 at Landmark Residential, where she acted as leasing associate and eventually as vice president. Between 2013 and 2017, she served as director of operations at Invitation Homes. After that, Palmer joined American Landmark as executive vice president of operations. Her main focus points are resident retention and marketing. Last year, Palmer oversaw the national launch of one of the company’s new customer service program.
The newly appointed chief administrative officer is a licensed sales associate by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. She previously served on board of directors for the Bay Area Apartment Association, in Tampa.
The promotion comes less than a month after the company acquired a Jacksonville, Fla., community, from Summit Contracting Group. The firm plans to upgrade and rebrand the 348-unit property.
