Allied Orion Group to Manage TX Senior Community
Sierra Meadows Apartments is a 90-unit, active senior community located in Houston’s Harris County. It is the first of its kind in the area for veterans.

The Harris County Housing Authority has selected Allied Orion Group as the property manager for Sierra Meadows Apartments, the first veteran-themed, Tax Credit/HOME, senior living community in the U.S.
Fully affordable senior community
Built in 2011, the 90-unit, fully affordable, active senior community consists of five buildings on 9.2 acres at 9835 North Sam Houston Parkway East in Humble, Texas. The unit mix comprises one- and two-bedroom units ranging in size from 775 to 1,088 square feet. In addition, some of units are wheelchair accessible, while others are made ready for the visually impaired.
Common area amenities include a clubhouse with beauty salon, media library, game room, dining area, fitness center, community kitchen and beverage center, resort-style pool with sundeck, 18-hole miniature golf putting greens, walking trails, picnic and grill area, gazebo and fountain. Units feature high ceilings, washer and dryer hookups, dual-pane glass and private balconies/patios in select units.
“We chose Allied Orion Group to manage Sierra Meadows because they understand efficiency and customer service, which is the backbone of property management operations for our affordable communities,” Paula Burns, asset manager for the Harris County Housing Authority, said.
