Aventon Kicks Off 2nd Luxury Project in South Carolina
The developer has brought more than 9,000 units online since 2019.
Aventon Cos. has broken ground on Aventon Mikasa, a 336-unit luxury multifamily community in Charleston, S.C. The developer will also serve as general contractor, while SCOTT + Cormia is serving as architect; interiors are being designed by Studio 5 Interiors. Completion is scheduled for the fall of 2024.
Plans call for multiple elevator-serviced four-story buildings which are slated to incorporate one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans ranging from 685 to 1,444 square feet. Common-area amenities will include a swimming pool, clubhouse, game room and fitness center, as well as a remote working lounge.
Located at the intersection of Clements Ferry Road and Charleston Regional Parkway, the 19-acre site is within accessible range of Interstate 526 and roughly 22 miles from downtown Charleston. The Boeing South Carolina Delivery Center is also 14 miles from the property and the Mercedes-Benz Vans manufacturing plant is situated some 20 miles away.
Since 2019, Aventon Cos. developed more than 9,000 units across Aventon-branded communities throughout Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas and the Mid-Atlantic, forming a $2 billion portfolio. The firm entered South Carolina recently with the groundbreaking of Aventon Bees Ferry, a luxury project also in Charleston, some 23 miles from where Aventon Mikasa will take shape.
