Santa Barbara, Calif.—Yardi announced today that it has completed several enhancements to Yardi Resident Screening™ designed to help clients operate more efficiently, manage risk better, comply with screening regulations and improve net operating income.
New developments include a refreshed look and feel to the system, a revised Premium National Criminal Records module, and an upgraded National Eviction Search module for clients using the Statewide Eviction Search feature. Clients can also leverage Yardi Orion™ for SharePoint® to combine screening results from Yardi Resident Screening with resident history data in Yardi Voyager™ for unprecedented business intelligence. For example, combining these types of data can reveal payment, skip, eviction, and delinquency trends that allow property managers to adjust screening criteria to select higher-quality residents.
These advancements coincide with the rebranding of RentGrow Inc., a leading provider of online resident screening services for multifamily property management firms since 1989, to Yardi. They also complete the transition of TotalScreen™, RentGrow’s Web-based applicant screening platform, to become Yardi Resident Screening. Effective Feb. 4, 2013, RentGrow clients will see the new Yardi brand on their screening communications.
Yardi acquired RentGrow in February 2010 as part of its initiative to add resident screening to its full business solution with the Yardi Multifamily Suite™. Clients using Yardi Resident Screening can incorporate credit checks, rental payment history searches, background checks, and other applicant screening functions into their leasing workflows in Yardi Voyager, in the new Yardi LeasingPad™, and in the online leasing workflow in RENTCafé™.
