Wood Partners Opens Luxury Property in Baltimore
The 275-unit community near Interstate 95 is also close to downtown.

Wood Partners has opened its second luxury community in the Baltimore area, the 275-unit Alta Federal Hill. Wood Residential is managing the property.
Located at 1800 S. Hanover St., in the Federal Hill area, the property is just 2 miles south of downtown Baltimore and less than half a mile west of Riverside Park. M&T Bank Stadium and Oriole Park are both within walking distance. The community also provides easy access to interstates 95 and 395, both less than a mile away.
The community also includes 2,000 square feet of retail, Yardi Matrix data shows. According to Scott Zimmerly, Executive Managing Director at Wood Partners, the six-story upscale property caters to commuting residents’ needs as well.
Alta Federal Hill, which broke ground in early 2020, encompasses one- to three-bedroom floorplans. Property amenities include a pool, grilling stations, a pet spa, a fitness center and coworking spaces. A tavern-themed sports lounge is also included, with amenities such as a billiard table and arcade games.
