After breaking ground on Alta Warehouse District, a 300-unit luxury multifamily project in Phoenix, Wood Partners has broken ground on Alta Columbia City, a 243-unit community in Seattle. The property is slated to open in 2021. The company entered the Seattle market eight years ago, and this development will mark its third community in the metro.
Located at 4716 S. Rainier Ave., in Seattle’s historic Columbia City neighborhood, the community will offer convenient access to transportation options, educational institutions, as well as major employers including Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Facebook. Additionally, downtown Seattle is a 15-minute drive away.
Alta Columbia City will feature a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom units, as well as 27,000 square feet of retail space. Common-area amenities will include a private lounge with an entertainment area and gourmet kitchen, a fitness center, coworking space, as well as an outdoor courtyard with a heated greenhouse, rooftop deck and dog run.
