The Wolff Co. has announced the forthcoming groundbreaking of Revel Kirkland, a 152-unit senior community in the Seattle area, designed for residents aged 55 and over. The 12-acre development will be located in the Juanita neighborhood of Kirkland, Wash.

The five-story property, set for completion in 2019, will be situated at 11725 N.E. 118th St., on the site of a former LifeBridge Church. Adjacent to Interstate 405, the site provides easy access to Totem Lake Mall and Evergreen Hospital, both less than one mile away.

Resort-style amenities

The development will include studio, one-, and two-bedroom independent living units disposed in a natural setting, providing extensive greenery, walking trails and outdoor amenities.

The upcoming community is set to feature resort-style services including:

  • full-service salon and spa
  • indoor heated saline pool
  • yoga studio
  • fitness studio
  • multiple restaurants

Wolff initiated the Revel Kirkland project in 2016 and plans to invest between $300 and $400 million annually in the development of retirement communities.

“Nationwide, and in places like Kirkland, there is an underserved and growing market of renters aged 55+ looking for a convenient, upscale, lock-and-leave lifestyle,” said Mike Milhaupt, vice president of Senior Housing for Wolff, in prepared remarks. “Revel Kirkland will give residents a contemporary senior living option with flexible, quality food options and wellness as keystones of their experience”.
