The Wolff Co. has broken ground on Revel Issaquah, a 146-unit independent living community located east of Seattle, in Issaquah, Wash. The garden-style development for residents age 55 and older represents the company’s ninth retirement project since 2016 and is set to open in late 2018.

The property is located near Lake Sammamish in Issaquah Highlands, providing easy access to Interstate 90 and a variety of retail options. The three-story community will offer studio, one-and two-bedroom units, along with resort-style amenities, such as:

  • chef-driven dining options
  • fitness and yoga studio
  • full-service salon and spa
  • art studio
  • heated salt water pool

“Nationwide, and in places like Issaquah, there is an underserved and growing market of renters aged 55+ looking for a convenient, upscale, lock-and-leave lifestyle,” said Mike Milhaupt, vice president of Senior Housing for The Wolff Co., in prepared remarks. “Revel Issaquah will give prospective residents a higher quality senior living option where choices have previously been limited.”

Last April, The Wolff Co. appointed Integral Senior Living to manage Laurel Riverpark, a 136-unit Los Angeles-area senior community in Oxnard, Calif.
