Working on behalf of Western Securities, KWA Construction broke ground on the second phase of Mustang Station Apartments in Farmers Branch, Texas. Designed by BGO Architects, the four-story, 186-unit community is scheduled for completion by the end of 2018.
Located at 2501 Bill Moses Parkway, next to the 256-unit Phase I of Mustang Station Apartments, the community will sit about one mile and a half from Interstate 35E. The multifamily asset will offer convenient access to multiple restaurants, shopping centers and schools, including Cuquita’s Restaurant, Bazaar El Royal Shopping Mall and Farmers Branch Elementary School. The 177,106-square-foot development will feature one-, two- and three-bedroom units, ranging from 588 to 1,400 square feet. The second phase will also include a five-story garage with 263 parking spaces, a fitness center, swimming pool and two interior courtyards.
“KWA will execute the design team’s vision of building practical, transit-oriented housing where residents can easily commute into downtown Dallas or throughout other parts of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex,” Brian Webster, KWA president, said in a prepared statement.
Earlier this year, KWA also broke ground on Firewheel Senior Living Residences, a 154-unit, high-end senior living Garland community.
