Western National Property Management has been selected to manage the Millennium Apartments, a luxury 330-unit multifamily community in Palm Desert, Calif. Located at 74699 Technology Drive, in the heart of the Coachella Valley region, the newly built, two-story community features studio and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 603 to 1,512 square feet.
Apartments offer contemporary finishes, smart home technology, private patios, plush carpeting in bedrooms and direct-access garages. Among the higher-profile common-area amenities is a fitness center with private yoga studio and outside exercise lawn.
The outlying Palm Springs area, where Millennium Apartments is located is experiencing increasingly elevated home prices and little increase in the inventory of single-family homes. These factors have led to continued multifamily demand.
Regional multifamily demand
Millennium Apartments will benefit from its proximity to several transit, shopping and recreational amenities. The College of the Desert and its East Valley campus are reachable in 13 minutes. As for shopping, the Village at University Retail Park is a seven-minute walk, while University Centre Retail Plaza and The Vineyards can both be accessed via an approximately two-minute drive.
The community also enjoys access to a variety of parks and recreation, three of which are within about 10 miles. The Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert is a five-minute drive away, while The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens requires an approximately 10-minute drive. The Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument is about a 15-minute drive.
Proximate cultural amenities include Acrisure Arena, offering concerts and sporting events year-round and art galleries. An array of fine dining and local eateries is also available. Millennium Apartments is expected to open its doors in late summer.
