Western National Promotes Two Property Management VPs
Orange County, Calif.--Western National Property Management, the multifamily property management division of Western National Group, has promoted Julie Manthey and Nick Alicastro to vice president roles.
Orange County, Calif.–Western National Property Management, the multifamily property management division of Western National Group, has promoted Julie Manthey and Nick Alicastro to vice president roles. Manthey, CPM, has been named vice president of operations, and Alicastro has been named vice president of business development.
President Laura Khouri says the company is increasing its third-party management portfolio as well as in-house management, with 1,800 new units added this year and several hundred more expected to be added later this summer. Western National Property Management has added management contracts in Orange and Ventura Counties in California; Las Vegas; and Colorado Springs, Colorado.
In her new role, Manthey will oversee the daily operations of 16,000 units, working with support departments to ensure continued growth. Manthey has been part of Western National since 2007. Her more than 25 years in the real estate industry include positions of increasing responsibility for national REIT Home Properties and Irvine Apartment Communities. She serves on the board of directors for the Southern California Chapter of IREM.
Alicastro has already been responsible for more than six new property assignments with three separate owners while maintaining oversight of a portfolio of more than 7,500 units. He joined Western National Property Management in 2003. Previously, he worked for many nationally recognized real estate firms, including Irvine Company and Fairfield Residential Property Management, with experience encompassing acquisition, disposition, redevelopment, repositioning and new product.
