33-Unit Affordable Housing Developed in CA
The apartments are designed for families earning between 30 percent and 60 percent of the area median income.
Chula Vista, Calif.—Wermers Multi-Family Corporation is the general contractor for Lofts on Landis, a 33-apartment affordable housing project in Downtown Chula Vista, Calif.

Located at 240 Landis Ave., Lofts on Landis is a four-story, Type V Building over concrete podium structure, and consists of one-, two- and three bedroom units. The apartments are designed for families earning between 30 percent and 60 percent of the area median income.
Amenities include a modern children’s play structure, health center, laundry facilities, and leasing offices.
The mixed-use project was completed in partnership with the Family Health Centers of San Diego and includes parking and office space for the nearby Chula Vista Family Health Center.
Wermers’ staff on the project included vice president Richard Wood, project manager Kevin Hanson, and project superintendent Javier Avalos.
