Wendy Forsythe to Join HomeSmart as COO
The real estate veteran used to serve as president of the brokerage division of T3 Sixty, one of the largest management consulting companies in the residential real estate industry.
HomeSmart International appointed Wendy Forsythe, a real estate industry veteran of two decades, as the company’s new chief operating officer. Previously, Forsythe was president of the brokerage division of T3 Sixty. Prior to that, she was head of global operations at Carrington Real Estate Services, senior vice president of network services for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and vice president of sales for Royal LePage, Canada’s largest real estate company.
“Wendy is a first-rate strategic problem solver and the consummate brand builder,” T3 Sixty CEO Stefan Swanepoel, in a prepared statement. Bringing Foresythe on board is a key part of the HomeSmart’s growth plans, which included notable activities like the May 2017 acquisition of Cherry Creek Properties in Colorado. “We continue to build upon our solid operational foundation and the addition of a highly-regarded industry expert like Wendy should send a strong message about how serious we are about growth,” said HomeSmart CEO Matt Widdows.
Forsythe will officially join HomeSmart on September 18th. Ashley Bowers, the firm’s current president & COO, will continue to lead the organization as president.
