Walden at Chatham Center

Walden at Chatham Center is nestled in a woodsy setting near a lake. The community prides itself on its friendly and family-oriented atmosphere and often hosts neighborhood block and pool parties that give residents a chance to get to know their new neighbors. Sandra Pettigrew, a retired hospice nurse and resident for nearly six years, is passionate about her apartment community. “[One of the reasons] we chose Walden at Chatham Center was the employees; everybody is so kind and so helpful,” she says.

Of all the amenities the community has to offer, Sandra’s favorite is the pool. “On the weekends it feels like a family having a cook out… We would all bring food and hang out by the pool. It’s awesome.” Considering the community spirit, the location, the staff members and the amenities, it’s easy to see how Walden at Chatham Center would have a special place in the heart of anyone who lives there. Sandra says, “I’m blessed to be here…We don’t just have an apartment; we have a home.”
