Villagio Senior Living Selects New Management

Cappella Living Solutions is managing seven senior living properties owned by Villagio Senior Living in Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado, including both Oklahoma facilities. The company also added five more properties to its operating and management portfolio in recent weeks.

The management and consulting division of Christian Living Communities, CLC/Cappella now manages 26 communities in seven states, serving more than 3,000 seniors. Terry Rogers, CEO of CLC/Cappella, said in a prepared statement the company has met its goal of providing support to more than 20 communities before the end of 2019.

The Villagio communities include four in Texas, which all provide assisted care and memory care services: Villagio of Carrollton, Plano, McKinney and Kerrville.

The Oklahoma assets are Villagio of Oklahoma City, which offers assisted living and memory care services, and Bradford Village in Edmond, Okla., which has independent living and assisted living at its facility. Villagio Broomfield in Broomfield, Colo., provides assisted living and memory care services.

Jim Morris, an owner of Villagio Senior Living, stated the selection of CLC/Cappella as its management team strengthens the services it provides and better aligns with its mission of emphasizing holistic well being. CLC/Cappella’s offerings include its Rhythms Service lines, which offer holistic approaches to dementia and life enrichment, adapting to the natural rhythm of each person.

CLC/Cappella will also implement its sales and marketing, operational and financial processes along with its Duet Hospitality dining program that empowers residents to help create their dining experiences. 

Growing the Portfolio

CLC/Cappella also assumed management of four communities owned by NexCore LLC in Indiana and Ohio in late August. The properties are: Walnut Crossing in Marysville, Ohio; Heritage Crossing, Akron, Ohio; Sugar Fork Crossing in Anderson, Ind., and Demaree Crossing, Greenwood, Ind. Each community offers assisted living and memory care services and were built within the last two years, including Heritage Crossing which is celebrating its grand opening on Sept. 19.

CLC/Cappella is also now operating Legacy Commons of Pueblo West in Pueblo West., Colo., for National Health Investors Inc., which purchased the assisted living community for $7.6 million. CLC/Cappella is providing management services at the 51-unit apartment community that serves both private pay and Medicaid residents.
