Vesper Holdings Buys Missouri Student Housing
Located near downtown Columbia, The Domain comprises 654 beds catering to University of Missouri students.
Vesper Holdings, along with its joint venture partner Fortress Investment Group, has expanded its Missouri presence with the acquisition of a 654-bed student housing community in Columbia. Dubbed The Domain, the property offers accommodation to University of Missouri students.
Built in 2013, the property is located at 3100 E. Stadium Blvd. and comprises 10 three-story buildings. The Domain features one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans, all with bed-to-bath parity. Amenities include a fitness center, a study center, a golf simulator, a movie theater, a game room, a volleyball court and an outdoor pool.
Situated minutes from campus and downtown Columbia, the community is immediately east of Route 63.
Campus Life & Style, a subsidiary of Vesper, serves as the property manager for the community. The company currently handles over 25,000 student housing beds across 27 university markets.
Due to declining enrollment and an oversupply in secondary markets, student housing managers started paying extra attention to details related to design, marketing and service to acquire a competitive edge for their properties.
Last year, Campus Life & Style partnered up with Forbes Travel Guide’s global training platform to deliver a hospitality-type customer experience for residents and their parents.
