Set to come online in 2027, the community will total 321 units.

Trademark Property Co. has officially broken ground on Westbend Residences, a 321-unit community in Fort Worth, Texas. The project is scheduled to come online in the first quarter of 2027.

The development is the second phase of the Westbend mixed-use community. Trademark redeveloped the first phase in 2016, which includes 281,000 square feet of fully leased office and retail space.

Earlier this year, the company obtained the financing for the community, according to Fort Worth Inc. The owner is developing the sustainable project according to National Green Building Standards and LEED Silver certifications.

Amenities at the seven-story community are set to include two swimming pools, a fitness center, a dog spa and 4,500 square feet of retail space, including a ground-floor restaurant. The property will also have a two-story parking garage.

DFW’s growing multifamily footprint

Just last month, The NRP Group started construction on Jackson Road, a 370-unit luxury community in Carrollton, Texas. The project is set to come online by the end of next year.

Earlier this year, Nexus Cos. obtained $180 million for the construction of Vivante Turtle Creek, a 20-story, luxury senior housing property in Dallas. The 193-unit development is already underway and will include memory care units.
