Time Equities Adds Artistic Touch in Manhattan
Tessa Ferreyros will curate contemporary works throughout the company’s commercial and residential buildings.
Time Equities Inc. (TEI) has added Tessa Ferreyros as a director and curator of the art-in-buildings program, an innovative approach bringing contemporary art by emerging and mid-career artists to non-traditional exhibition spaces with the plan of promoting artists. She will curate contemporary art throughout the firm’s commercial and residential buildings, including the company’s headquarters in New York, Chicago and Milwaukee. Ferreyros will be based in TEI’s Manhattan office.
Prior to joining TEI, Ferreyros served as a curatorial manager at Madison Square Park Conservancy where she organized large scale installations with Leonardo Drew, Arlene Shechet, and Krzysztof Wodiczko. She brings more than 13 years of experience in the art world and curatorial domain.
Between 2014 and 2018, Ferreyros worked at The Museum of Modern Art as curatorial assistant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, film and video at Rhode Island School of Design and a master’s degree in art history, criticism and conservation at the City University of New York-Hunter College.
The new appointment comes a few months after TEI completed a 16-story residential tower in Grand Rapids, Mich.
