Hanna had driven past the community quite a few times and had noticed how attractive it was from the road. A close friend who was living at The Columns at Gulfport suggested that she come by and take a tour. “As I rode around in the golf cart, I noticed how pretty the swimming pool is and the play areas for the kids, and the landscaping,” Hanna recalls. “I also liked the apartments. I was impressed—they’re a nice size.”

She adds, “You can always tell by the bathroom how well the apartments are kept up.” Hanna’s two bedroom/two bath floor plan boasts an oversized garden tub in the master bathroom, a huge walk-in closet and a screened-in patio. “The clubhouse is very comfortable,” adds Hanna. “You can have meetings there, and people play cards. They also have cookies and lemonade. It’s very much like an extension of my home.”
