Burlington Ventures announced the opening of The Richardson at Tarrytown on May 25. The 27-unit community in Tarrytown, Texas features the unique trait of having no stairs. Residents can use elevators from the underground parking to access the apartments. The Richardson is expected to be available for move-in this summer.
The property, located at 3215 Exposition Blvd., features nine distinct one- to three-bedroom floor plans, ranging from 1,209 to 2,957 square feet and with rents ranging from $3,300 to $8,800 per month. Units feature large custom kitchens with quartz countertops, counter-depth refrigerators, built-in gas ranges, wall ovens and microwaves, under-counter wine-refrigerators and full-size washer and dryers.
“Once people get a look at these beautiful rental homes and are able to envision themselves leading The Richardson lifestyle, these 27 units will go fast,” Burlington Ventures President Steve Beuerlein said in prepared remarks.
Common area amenities include an outdoor kitchen with gas grill, seasonally heated pool, outdoor fireplace and dog park on the central amenity deck. The property also features a clubroom equipped with a full kitchen, large-screen TV and conference room, connected through an accordion glass door to the amenity deck. A fitness center, mud room with integrated dog-wash station, climate-controlled wine cellars and secure bike storage are also available.
The community’s cast-in-place concrete construction, floor plates and high-density wall insulation provide solid sound insulation between homes. Residents can vary temperature by zone through energy-efficient, multi-zone HVAC systems, while low-energy LED lighting boosts energy savings and delivers superior color rendering. Common area energy needs are powered by rooftop solar panels.
The property is located in the central part of the city, close to MoPac expressway, downtown, The University of Texas, Lions Municipal Golf Course, Lady Bird Lake and Seton Medical Center. The Richardson was designed by Dick Clark + Associates and developed by Burlington Ventures, who will also manage the boutique property. Big Red Dog Engineering, HOAR Construction, Coleman & Associates Landscape Architecture and Yellow Door Design collaborated on the project.
