Skyline Topper Opens in Oak Park

Situated at the corner of Lake Street and Forest Avenue, Vantage Oak Park is 21 stories tall.

Oak Park, Ill.—Vantage Oak Park, a 21-story high-rise, has welcomed its first residents. Developed by a team consisting of Atlanta-based Wood Partners, Chicago-based Golub & Co. and the Village of Oak Park, the new luxury apartment tower is now the tallest building in this Chicago suburb.

“Oak Park offers residents a high quality of life in one the country’s most desirable suburbs along with easy access to Chicago,” said Oak Park Mayor Anan Abu-Taleb. “Vantage brings the lifestyle of a downtown high-rise to the thriving local dining, shopping and cultural scene of Oak Park.”

Located at at 150 Forest Ave., the 270-unit community was designed by the Chicago office of Gensler to take advantage of the views over Oak Park through floor-to-ceiling windows. Residents can choose from studio, one- and two-bedroom units, which feature plank flooring, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and in-unit washer and dryer sets.

Shared amenities include a rooftop terrace with grills and fire pit, a fitness center, lounge, clubroom, business center and conference room. In addition, residents will benefit from the 24-hour, self-service package pickup, a smartphone video intercom system, as well as a self-service pet wash.
