Sunrise Senior Living has opened Sunrise of Orange, a 93-unit senior housing community in Orange, Calif. The property provides assisted living and memory care units to more than 100 residents.

HPI Architecture served as the project’s main architect and W.E. O’Neil Construction was the general contractor, while Sunrise’s design team handled the interior design in-house.

The 75,000-square-foot, two-story building incorporates studio, one- and two-bedroom floorplans. Common-area amenities include a fitness center, a theater room, a spa, a salon, a medical exam room, multiple dining rooms, a bistro, outdoor courtyards, walking paths and approximately 62 parking spaces.

The senior living facility features monthly wellness visits by licensed on-staff nurses, an electronic health record system, 24/h trained staff, scheduled transportation, housekeeping and laundry services.

Sunrise of Orange is located on a 1.5-acre site near Eisenhower Park, at 1301 E. Lincoln Ave. The community is situated near Costa Mesa Freeway, in an area with an abundance of dining options, retail centers and entertainment venues.

Last year, Sunrise Senior Living opened Sunrise of Redwood City, a 92-unit assisted living community in Redwood City, Calif. The property provides 56 assisted living suites, 19 reminiscence suites and 17 terrace club suites.
