Summit Contracting Group Breaks Ground on GA Property
Mosby Lakeside in Pooler will have 316 units and include a hammock garden, a kayak and boat house and a fire pit. Construction is slated for completion in the summer of 2020.
Summit Contracting Group has commenced construction on Mosby Lakeside luxury apartments in the Savannah submarket of Pooler, Ga. The Class A development is situated across the street from the new St. Joseph’s/Candler hospital campus, and is near shopping, dining, mix-use amenities and access to Savannah’s employment hubs.
Mosby Lakeside will feature 316 units in seven buildings occupying total space of 328,235 square feet. A clubhouse, resort-style pool, fitness center, outdoor fire pit and kitchen, mail kiosk, dog park, pet spa, community garden and hammock garden, kayak and boat house and electric car charging stations will be among the common-area amenities of the community. Construction is slated for completion in the summer of 2020.
Direct buying power
“We are expecting another successful project with this client,” Summit Contracting Group, Inc. president Marc Padgett told MHN. “This will be our fourth project in two years and we are excited to be underway. Outside of the normal day-to-day issues a contractor would encounter, we don’t expect out of the ordinary challenges. The owner is Middleburg Real Estate Partners. The architect is Humphreys & Partners Architect, L.P. Summit has built more than 350 multifamily projects, encompassing more than 100,000 completed multifamily units, nationwide.
