Stonehenge NYC Names New VP
The firm hired Kunal Chothani, an industry professional who will serve as vice president of acquisitions. Prior to this role, Chothani was head of the New York subsidiary of Akelius Residential Property AB, where he managed transactions and assets valued at more than $1 billion.
Stonehenge NYC has recently hired Kunal Chothani as vice president of acquisitions. In this capacity, he will drive the company’s growth as per its strategic development plan.
Prior to joining Stonehenge, Chothani was head of the New York subsidiary of Akelius Residential Property AB, an international multifamily development and management firm based in Stockholm. During his four-year tenure at Akelius, he acquired and managed 26 apartment buildings valued at more than $1 billion. One of Akelius’ most recent acquisitions was a 12-story Manhattan community, which sold for $64.5 million.
Before his time at Akelius, Chothani had an active role in multifamily investments in different parts of the country. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and economics from Rutgers University.
