A joint venture between Stellar Senior Living and Experience Senior Living Development has announced plans to develop The Gallery at Spokane, a 137-unit community that marks the partnership’s second senior housing project in Spokane, Wash.
Last December, First Interstate Bank provided a $27.6 million construction loan with a variable interest rate for the project, according to public records.
The Gallery at Spokane will operate as a fully licensed continuing care retirement community. Scheduled for delivery in September, the 121,408-square-foot property will include a mix of independent living, assisted living as well as memory care units. The courtyard will feature food truck space, while select units will have full kitchens. Community amenities will include an all-day dining area and café, private walking paths, a salon and a bar. Laundry services, housekeeping, as well as transportation will also be available.
Located at 5415 S. Regal St., the community will be some 6 miles southeast of downtown Spokane and some 12 miles east of Spokane International Airport. Prairie View Community Park will be 1 mile southeast of the senior housing community, while several retail and dining options will also be available within a 1-mile radius.
Focused on senior housing
OZ Architecture will provide architectural services, while Walker Construction will be the general contractor. Reservations for The Gallery at Spokane will begin later this year.
Stellar Senior Living currently operates 25 senior housing communities throughout the Western U.S, while ESLD announced another senior housing project in January—The Reserve at Lone Tree in Lone Tree, Colo. The 200-unit luxury project will break ground in the last quarter of the year, with delivery expected for 2024.
