Steadfast Management Names New President

Michael Brown

Steadfast Management Co.—the multifamily management affiliate of Steadfast Cos.—has appointed 30-year industry veteran Michael Brown as its new president. Brown will be responsible for managing the firm’s 36,000-unit portfolio which spreads throughout 19 states.

Before joining Steadfast Management, Brown was Camden Property Trust’s divisional vice president for the western U.S. He has also held senior positions at During his career, he worked for companies such as Western National Group, Stellar Management, KOR Realty Group, R.W. Selby & Co. and the RREEF Funds.

Brown is active in a variety of industry organizations, having served as president of the Institute of Real Estate Management’s Orange County, Calif., chapter. He is also a board member for the Tri-County and San Diego Apartment Associations, the Industry Council of the California Apartment Association, as well as the Apartment Association of California Southern Cities. He received his bachelor’s degree in business finance from San Diego State University and holds the CPM designation and ARM certification.
