Oxnard, Calif.—Shea Apartment Communities announced that The Artisan Apartments at East Village in Oxnard, Calif., which opened their leasing center three months ago, is already 25 percent occupied and 32 percent leased.
The Artisan Apartments at East Village includes 272 units that range in size from 722 to 1,576 square feet. Apartments for the community include wood laminate flooring, Energy Star appliances and quartz countertops. Many of the apartments come with a one- or two-car private garage.
According to Steve Gilmore, senior vice president for Shea Apartment Communities, a big draw is The Artisan Apartments at East Village’s amenities.
“The amenity package offers huge value to our residents and we are excited by the quality of these apartments, especially the bright and spacious feel we have created,” he says.
The amenities include a state-of-the-art clubhouse with a pool, tanning deck, spa and cabanas with double chaise lounges. Additionally, there is a covered outdoor living room with seating, fireplace and HDTV. Other amenities include a cyber café, television screening area, gaming area, fireplace seating, kitchen and a fitness center.
Prices for the units at The Artisan Apartments at East Village range from $1,465 to $2,785 a month.
“People seem very enthusiastic and energized by our project and we are thrilled to announce that we have 25 percent of the units with residents living in them,” Gilmore says. “The Artisan was conceived to be best in class for suburban apartments and from the leasing velocity, I believe we have achieved that goal.”
